We are hosting our 10th annual GGSO Invitational at Stanford on Saturday, January 31st, 2026!
While team registration is now closed, we have released our involvement form, in which you can apply to be an Event Supervisor, Test Committee member, or general volunteer. Please note that these roles are only available to students who have graduated from high school. The link for the application can be found here.
If you have prior Science Olympiad experience, consider applying to be an Event Supervisor (ES) or Test Committee (TC) member. Event Supervisors are responsible for writing the tests and supervising competitors on tournament day, while Test Committee members evaluate test drafts prior to tournament day. If you intend to apply to be an ES/TC, the deadline is October 6th, 2025, at 11:59 PM PT.
No prior experience is required to be a general volunteer! General volunteers help the day run smoothly by assisting with grading exams, setting up, monitoring students, and other day-of activities. If you intend to apply to be a general volunteer only, the deadline is December 4th, 2025, at 11:59 PM PT.
As an added plus, all in-person volunteers will also receive a free GGSO t-shirt, guaranteed transportation to and from Stanford campus on tournament day (for Berkeley students), all-you-can-eat snacks (while supplies last), and free lunch! Even more reason to get involved and help our tournament be a success
