Random question: For the bucket bonus are we allowed to turn the scrambler in the launcher? (before launch)

Yes the scrambler and/or vehicle can be rotated to aim around the bucket. Rule 4.d.viii.(1) requires the tip of the egg to be above the Start Point. This would allow the launcher to be in front of the the start point. The size requirements of rule 3.d must still be satisfied.

Adding onto Brian's comment - the method you might be thinking of, where you build a vehicle that can turn with an adjustable radius, and calibrate the radius right before your run for the tournament's distance to essentially travel in an arc around the bucket, is often an effective choice for the years that vehicle events have this type of bonus.

And this is where calibration and a log sheet/book come in very handy without having to scramble at the event to get it right.
