Push To Start
The rules now state explicitly that competitors are able push the blade to get it started. If the push causes the blade to come off the assembly, should they get to re-mount their blade and try again?

Re: Push To Start
I disagree. You have 2 minutes 15 seconds of setup time, and you can reconnect your blade assembly many times in that period. Put them on, take them off, knock them on the floor, whatever you like: the only restriction is that you can't swap out the blade assembly for another one.
So I think +lemon+ is wrong. The only constraint is that before the end of that 2 minute 15 second period, you need to have the blade rotating, and you need to declare to the ES that you're ready for your measurement period to start.
I would not interpret the student knocking the entire blade assembly off the mount as a violation of 5 II f.
