Launching Technique

Many people have told me that the launching technique is very important to help increase flight times. What is the best possible technique for launching a helicopter?

I am not sure it is a matter of increasing flight times, but rather making it safely to the ceiling.

We have found that trying to push or assist the heli in getting climbing usually ends badly, with the heli falling over and flying around the room, often into the floor.

Rather, we have found the best technique, for us, invludes holding the heli perfectly vertical, release the top rotor to spin up for 1 second, then just release the bottom of the heli without a push. A well-built heli will then climb straight to the ceiling.
