We are excited to announce that registration for the 2025 CrabSO Division B Invitational which will be run via the Satellite format from February 15th, 2025 to Feburary 22nd, 2025 has opened. Registration fees are $50 per team for the first two teams and $45 for each subsequent team and free for Title I schools. There is no team cap for the number of teams per school or for the invitational. If you are registering team(s) from a Title I school, please email us at [email protected] after registering stating your school name so we can mark you exempt from payment.
Details:
- All 23 Division B events will be hosted including Botany and Remote Sensing as trials.
- Tests are being written by high school students and alumni who have at least previously wrote and/or placed at states or nationals for events they are writing or a Division C equivalent.
- Registration can be done at https://scilympiad.com/crabso and closes Monday, February 3rd, 2025 11:59 PM EDT
- All finances and transactions are being supervised by Chesapeake Stem Connections which is run by Maryland regional directors Mr. Jay Farmer, Ms. Lissa Vincent, and Mr. Sergei Koslov

- All profits from CrabSO will be used to financially support Maryland teams, provide workshops, and fund new in-person competitions in Maryland in the future. More information about CrabSO and our goals can be found here https://sites.google.com/view/crabso
- Considering that the JHU invitational (2/8) recently limited its teams to only Baltimore teams, this is an opportunity for MD teams looking to see how you fare against teams in your region or state as we have a quite a few MD teams coming
