I know IMSA, but I'm not sure about the other... What do you think?

Re: Illinois C Poll
??? The only one who's basically certain is New Trier... I have the feeling spots 2-4 are going to be close between Stevenson, NC, and IMSA.

Re: Illinois C Poll
I think IMSA could surprise a lot of people! New Trier is a shoe in for the state championship. But I don't think anyone can rule out Adlai! I think it's definitely down to those three
But anything can happen at state so who knows!

Don't jump to conclusions from one year. I don't understand why everyone thinks IMSA is major nats contender already. We have beat them every year since I can find archives, except last year. If fact, the didn't even make top five the year before. So before you make conclusions about who is going to nationals, get some info. Sorry if I sound harsh, but it seems that people just don't look at the history.

Re: Illinois C Poll
See, while the 'history' is good sometimes, there is no point in comparing them to past years cause things can change. I make my statement based on this fact: My team has competed against BOTH New Trier AND IMSA this year and they were both good. We beat IMSA and lost to New Trier by about ten points, they were both fantastic competition and it's been awhile since that invitational so i'm sure they both have gotten a lot better.kjhsscioly wrote:Starapollo1 wrote:I think IMSA could surprise a lot of people! Having competed against them this year I can say that they are both great teams and that they could well at state. I also said in my post that anything can happen at state, implying that you can't make too strong of assumption not even for the state championship, as my post was an amalagamation of innuendos, i'd appreciate it if you truly looked into the actual meaning behind my post without just looking at one part of it. ...sorry, didn't mean to sound harsh...

Re: Illinois C Poll
Bear in mind, I doubt Central will teach much in the way of quantum physics. IMSA will.
I'm hoping IMSA and Central will.

I take it then that you go to stevenson, and you really shouldn't judge competition by invites. They indicate next to nothing because most teams grow exponentially by state.
