Recommended Fundraiser Amount?

Post by chastayo »

I wanted to raise a lot more money this year, because usually my school raises like $400 annually for S.O. I was thinking if as a team we sold 70 Malley Bars boxes we'd raise like $1,000. Is that good?

In my opinion 1000 is A LOT. I think my team raised somewhere between 100 and 200 last year.. we sold t-shirts and sweatshirts.

i would go ask local restaurants what kind of fundraisers they do for schools, and ask a couple local businesses to sponsor you, and raise your goal a little bit, but for Malley's candy bars 1000 is a good amount

We sell suckers, specifically the ones below. They're 50 cents each, 36 to a bag, $18/bag. You can easily sell a full bag in one lunch period at our school, sometimes more.

Looking at prices for referencxe books, quality balsa, and the cost of gasoline, and $1000 isn't much any more.

Come to Bilddit-day in November and see the fund raiser that beats all other fund raisers. . .
