Post disappears?

I made a post in General Chat a few days ago. It was up for at least half a day; now it's gone with no explanation why.
To my knowledge it didn't break any rules.
PM to admins and mods asking for explanation went unanswered.

In what thread, and what was it about? It is possible that the post deleted, or I know a few days ago a whole thread was deleted from the General Chat.

I am sure it was gone for a while - I couldn't even find it via "view your posts"

Ah, we were running a script on the forum to look at the best way to archive abandoned threads and to see about next year. Might have touched a few buttons that nuked a few recent threads because the script's user had incorrect timezone settings.
