Welcome to the 2021 Wisconsin Science Olympiad Season!

State Website: https://www.wisconsinso.org

State Tournament Date: April 16th (STEM Expo, introductory ceremony) and April 17 (tournament)

Regional Dates: Not announced yet. Will make another post when they are.

Invitationals:
Boyceville Invite: December 5th, 2020

Unfortunately there are no regionals this year. However that means every team goes to State!

Indeed. I wonder how this will work for JV teams at the state tournament? The more the merrier? Will be interesting to see how that's handled.

My guess is they will take 5-10 JV teams again. Those 5-10 being from the top teams in the state, but then that brings the question which teams.

Reminder that the Slinger invitational is coming up! January 30th.

Also note that Menomonie is hosting an invitational on March 13th, and Marquette is hosting an invitational on March 20th. Y'all should sign up!

If you're doing it at state you should already have beans going. Otherwise utilize Wikipedia tbh.

Fair warning: the Wisconsin State Tournaments WAS open internet for those that might not yet know. There was clearly a lot of miscommunication about this.

Hawaii was also Open Internet. I think it falls more under the reasoning of "we can't stop you from doing it, so we may as well let everybody use it so it's a level playing field."
