Those girls that won it were pretty smart too. The one getting the silver is gonna go to yale for law. Fencing was kind of boring to watch. It sickens me that the US can't get a medal in diving even if their life depended on it. Water polo was really fun to watch.
That relay race with the 4x100m men thing was really exciting. PHELPS PHELPS PHELPS PHELPS. That dude's CRAZY good. The diving dudes are like super skinny and then they suck in their stomachs and it's like...oh jeez. I can't wait until Track and field starts showing.
GO GALVIN MIDDLE SCHOOL!!!!!!
my 08 events:
Anatomy - 2nd place
Amphibians and Reptiles - 2nd place
Food Science - 5th place
these were fun.
09 events: blown off due to the tenor saxophone. I love to play the saxophone!

Men's Gymnastics is on right now, and USA is doing a lot better than I expected. What's with Japan, though?

It's nice seeing all the American stuff primetime, but I think during the day they should do a better job of showing some less popular sports... I want to see tennis, badminton, table tennis, baseball, archery, etc. rather than repeats of what happened last night.

Though I guess MSNBC has been doing a good job of that, I just don't get MSNBC in this hotel.

table tennis has to be the greatest sport ever invented.
plus water polo seems really intense.

What's the point of having a TV then if you have to watch everything of interest online?

Not to mention that the online stuff, from what I've seen, doesn't have any commentary, and the cinematography is very poor. Very few camera angles, sometimes it is just one camera set to encompass the entire court and left alone. Sometimes you don't even see the score of the game you're watching...
