Natl & GA State Cancelled - Another year of Gliders

Dear Georgia Science Olympiad Community,
The National Science Olympiad Tournament scheduled for May 15-16 has been cancelled as
NC State University and the state of North Carolina are under a State of Emergency. To that
end, we are cancelling the 2020 State Tournament for Divisions B & C.
We know this cancellation will be very disappointing to students (especially those graduating
this year), coaches, supervisors and parents after all the hard work that has been put into the
season, but our highest priority is the safety and well-being of all in our Science Olympiad
Community.
Science Olympiad plans to replay the 2020 Rules for the 2021 season, so save your devices
and resources. We look forward to seeing you all next season and will post updates on the
State website as information becomes available for the 2021 season
