Science Olympiad Chess

Welcome to SciOly Chess!

Here are the rules:

1. The next two people to post will be team captains.
2. After that, the next six people to post will be players. They will choose which team they want to be on.
3. There may be no more than four people on each team.
4. Once each team is at capacity, further posters will be put on a waitlist for play.
5. This game will be run using standard chess rules.
6. When it is the turn of each team, the first move posted in algebraic notation by a player on that team will be executed. Please show the board and its code using the code that I have posted below.
7. The team captain can veto any move before the opposing team plays.
8. If a play is illegal, the opposing team may challenge before they play.
9. If a team is unresponsive within 24 hours of their opponent's last play, that team forfeits the move.
10. At the end of each round, the player with the lowest moves contributed will be removed, and the player at the top of the waitlist will replace him/her.
11. Players with no moves contributed will be replaced no matter what.
12. If a captain is removed, the player with the highest moves contributed on that team will become the captain.

#9 isn't a good idea. A team could easily get out of Zugzwang that way.

Perhaps 72 hours or something to prevent stalling et cetera without unnecessarily penalizing teams...
