RUBBER BAND CATAPULT

Sorry that this isn't the right forum, but does anyone know if regarding the rubber band competition, should we expect the rubber bands to slide along the ground (ie, are they competing on a slick surface) or is the competition on a surface that allows the the rubberband to lie where it flies. THANKS!

Rubber band competition? Is that something your state or region is doing?
