Does the test/notes need to be for a 2013/2014 event? Or can we upload something for an event that was in this year, but is getting rotated out (according to the tentative event table)?

For the purposes of the SSSS, notes and tests should be for 2013-2014 events as listed in the proposed event table. However, we would still encourage you to upload notes and tests for old events to the 2013 test exchange.

Yesterday was the first official day of SSSS! For those of you who have already submitted something, thank you. For those of you who are interested but have not yet submitted anything, go ahead and give it a try! We've only just begun, and are more than happy to look over anything that you have. We've already had a lot of submissions, and that's amazing. Thanks to all who have submitted things, and here's encouragement for everyone else!

We've been receiving a lot of submissions lately, so I'd like to clarify a few things.

1. Contrary to what the Google Doc says, you do not have to ask us to assign you an event. We will accept any test or notes on any of the 2013-2014 events.

2. To get an idea of how long your test should be, imagine that you are taking it at an actual competition. It should be long enough to take a good 40 minutes or so to get through it at the least.

3. Please have your answer key in a different file from your test, so we can upload them separately.

Thank you!

For everyone,
1. If you've written a test and would like someone to review it prior to submission, I'd be happy to help. It just may take a day or two.
2. If you've written a test and need help building an answer sheet/key or need examples, I can also help with that. I've ran many events over the years and have one basic answer sheet that I find can be used for most events. I've considered submitting that for everyone's use, but it's less of a template and more of an 'edit this to fit your current needs' sort of thing, which I dunno if anyone would like to use.

For the folks overheading this,
I'm planning on writing some notes, per suggestion, on the Chem Lab event for next season. What distinguishes notesd from Wiki edits? The Wiki needs whatever information would be in the notes. Will the notes be creatively spliced to go into the Wiki, appended, or what? It may depend on the event, I guess. Some events with populated Wiki pages may have excellent note submissions to go alongside whatever's in the Wiki.

By the way, does the new topic for next season come with listed subtopics? I'm guessing not.
