Well, doesn't Chalk (limestone, containing carbonates) effervesce? Diatomite doesn't effervesce, at least. You don't need to know them specifically, but you should include info for formations and such in a page for that rock/mineral that the formation is related to. For example, since the Giant's Causeway is made of basalt, in your Basalt section, you should put a picture and a bit of info on the Giant's Causeway.bhavjain wrote:What famous formations should we know?
