It's Waiting For Godot. And I never read it, but I hear it's sorta an acquired taste, not for everyone.
But on the topic of horrible books, I'm gonna go with Wizard's First Rule by Terry Goodkind. It was ridiculously long, the characters had possibly the most two-dimensional and stale characterization in anything I have ever read, the plot was generic and predictable, the writing was awful, the characters were unlikable, and the book was very preachy at times.
Also, Song of Solomon by Toni Morrison. One of the worst books I have ever read, had to read it for AP Lit in 12th grade. I found myself despising every single character in the book. There was not one character that I actually liked and sympathized with. The writing was terrible, the theme of race was extremely blunt and the author hit you over the head with it pretty much every other page, and the ending was just awful.
