Re: Game 1: Prisoner's Dilemma
Omg i am really srry... I don't think I was clear enough.
2win is one prisoner. Crowman is the other.
Basically, 2win decides to either keep quiet or betray Crowman. Crowman desides to either keep quiet or betray 2win.
and maybe you guys SHOULD PM me your responses. XD *shot'd*

Re: Game 1: Prisoner's Dilemma
THIS IS MY ANSWER: Both suspects (for their sake) should stay silent.

Re: Game 1: Prisoner's Dilemma

Re: Game 1: Prisoner's Dilemma
Lol okies lets try again. Please forget everything from before.
Welcome to AsllaPiscu's Game Show! Contestants will have to play a random game based on a simple problem that is based on the very roots of modern board games. The winner will get bragging rights.
Game 1 Contestants: 2win & croman74
This is your problem.
Two suspects are arrested by the police. The police have insufficient evidence for a conviction, and, having separated both prisoners, visit each of them to offer the same deal. If one testifies (defects from the other) for the prosecution against the other and the other remains silent (cooperates with the other), the betrayer goes free and the silent accomplice receives the full 10-year sentence. If both remain silent, both prisoners are sentenced to only six months in jail for a minor charge. If each betrays the other, each receives a five-year sentence. Each prisoner must choose to betray the other or to remain silent. Each one is assured that the other would not know about the betrayal before the end of the investigation.
Now, 2win is one suspect. croman is the other. Croman PM's me whether he'd like to betray 2win or whether he'd like to keep quiet. 2win PM's me whether she'd like to betray croman or whether she'd like to keep quiet.
After both players have PM'd me the answers, we'll move on to part 2.

Re: Game 1: Prisoner's Dilemma
Part 2
Ok. Both players have decided to stay silent. Basically, both wil serve 6 months in jail.
Now, the whole point a contest is to win, right?
So, we will repeat the process. Both players either decide to A: Keep quiet or B: betray.
In the end, the person who has to stay in jail the longest loses.
See, the players can "punish" each other for uncooperative play by betraying them.
We'll repeat the process until each player has made 5 decisions. Please PM me your second decisions... now.
Again, both of you have betrayed each other. +5 years
SCOREBOARD
2win: 10.5 years
Croman74: 10.5 years
