Re: Game 1: Prisoner's Dilemma
Jchu, I hope you're not doing something stupid. When I created this one thread, EOOTA got really mad and wrote an angry post to me. At least DS saw it.

Re: Game 1: Prisoner's Dilemma
Well, I don't intend it to be exactly like it, so if this gets too much like it, somebody warn me and I'll stop. Unlike the Assasinations, with a little bit of a dark mood, this will have a much happier tone to it.
Welcome to AsllaPiscu's Game Show! Contestants will have to play a random game based on a simple problem that is based on the very roots of modern board games. The winner will get bragging rights.
Game 1 Contestants: 2win & croman74
This is your problem.
Two suspects are arrested by the police. The police have insufficient evidence for a conviction, and, having separated both prisoners, visit each of them to offer the same deal. If one testifies (defects from the other) for the prosecution against the other and the other remains silent (cooperates with the other), the betrayer goes free and the silent accomplice receives the full 10-year sentence. If both remain silent, both prisoners are sentenced to only six months in jail for a minor charge. If each betrays the other, each receives a five-year sentence. Each prisoner must choose to betray the other or to remain silent. Each one is assured that the other would not know about the betrayal before the end of the investigation. How should the prisoners act?
The contestants will play as the two prisoners. please do not look at the other's answer. To make it easier on the eyes... please type like this:
THIS IS MY ANSWER
Do so by putting a [ color=#FFFFFF] and a [ /color ] like you would while quoting.
Ready, set, begin!

Re: Game 1: Prisoner's Dilemma
There's a right and wrong answer?
Wait, can the prisoners hear anything like gossip?

Re: Game 1: Prisoner's Dilemma
Lol that is part of the game. The rest of the community is encouraged to hint (not too obviously) or pressure the contestants.
After you 2 give your answers, we'll move to part 2 of this game.
