I have played the clarinet for 8 years. Also, I started playing the mellophone (it's a marching french horn basically) for pep band this year. I've also dabbled a bit with the piano and flute, but I'm not very good.

oboes are better than clarinets. just saying.

oh yeah right..... how long have you played the oboe anyways?

About a year and a half.
I just got back from regional band auditions. Didnt make it into the regional band, tho. Oh well. This was my first year. Maybe next year...

They tell you if you made It on the day of the audition?! that's fast...I've been playing for...since the end of 6th grade...so about a year and a half too, but I progressed pretty quickly according to my band dIrector...

I played the oboe for a summer.
It was kinda fun.

I played percussion for the past 8 years, and I hated it. But it got me into Wind Ensemble, so I stuck with it.
Not that I was any good on drums. I was only decent on mallet percussion, cause i play piano.

I wish I had picked a wind instrument for the school band, percussion was not my thing.
At least since I graduated, I never have to play percussion again.

Tclme, are you still gonna take lessons from my neighbor? Or was that only for the summer?

I went over one time while you were having a lesson and I went up to the door to see if you could see me but you were just concentrating.

Robodude, you're gonna be so proud of me. I read the intro to THGTTG today. It wasn't too bad, in fact, it was good. But don't even get me started on the first chapter...ugh.
