I'm the primary cellist in our symphony orchestra woohoo!

Band, however, is still pretty cool I was a percussionist until a few years ago

I'm not saying that band is the worst thing on the planet, however I prefer orchestra because I'm in orchestra and I failed miserably at playing band instruments. Although, I have to admit, the school orchestra isn't that great. Our music is pretty boring and it seems all we do in rehearsal is sit around and watch the second violins and violas get yelled at. (I mean, they aren't the greatest, but they don't deserve to be yelled at every rehearsal.)

Part of why I love orchestra so much is that we have an awesome teacher. She never yells at you or anything, especially not for your playing abilities, or lack thereof. She also teaches well, and we play really fun music. My MS teacher I wasn't quite as fond of, but he still really wasn't malicious and we played fun music. He's a really good violinist, like featured in concerts good, so you learn even though he is not the very best teacher.

I used to play piano and I still dapple in it a bit, but mainly I play flute. And I'm in a hand bell/hand chime choir.
