I'm definitely rooting for our WA B team (ExCEL) to make a strong showing. Their academic events are exceptionally strong (as well as several of their building events), and I'm betting that they take 3 golds or so in Georgia. The past two years, a WA team in B division has taken top five overall at Nationals. We're moving up the ladder! : )

Under the predictions for nationals, people are still putting that White Pines will do better than Lakeshore. I don't think they realize that White Pines didn't win states. They got 2nd by 29 points.

So taht doesn't mean anything. Solon got 2nd last year at states and beat Magsig. It's very possible for a second place team to do better than the first place team at nationals.

Solon definitely, but I will still support my junior high school's team. Nats last year was so fun even though we didn't do so well. It's times like this I wish I was still in division B so I could go with them!

That's true. White Pines did beat Lakeshore at regionals. But for some reason, I think that Lakeshore will win. I believe both of them will be top 5.
