1. LASA 38 points
2. Cyfalls 130 something points
3. Clements
4. Hyde Park
anything that happens happens.

anything that, in happening causes something else to happen, causes something else to happen.

anything that, in happening, causes itself to happen again, happens again.

it doesn't necessarily do it in chronological order, though.

Wow, LASA did that good?

Division B:

1. Kelly Lane 107
2. Kealing 109
3. Beckendorff 112
4. Riverwood forgot

At least that's how I think the scores went.

Good job Kelly Lane, Kealing, and Riverwood! The first 3 place finishes were just scarily close. And yay... we missed nationals by 3 points :( Guess there's always next year

Good luck to the people going to nationals!
Hi. I have a messed up sleep cycle. Thank you, scioly.

Yeah good job to everyone at state- i was a little dissapointed that we missed nationals by 3 points and getting first at state by 5 but my team this year was all brand new to science olympiad (Except for one person who did it last year in Ohio) so we will all be back next year :D.
Also, good job to Woodcreek Jr. High who got 8th place and this was their first time ever doing science olympiad (The school opened brand new this year)

Wow, that's amazingly close. We were watching the B division awards and counting the medal totals, and we could tell that the top 4 schools were absolutely neck and neck. Its a shame that more schools can't go to nationals, because I'm sure that Beckendorff and Riverwood would do very well there.

Congratulations to Cyfalls! We will see you in Augusta. Its great that you were able to make it to nationals after seeing your school's name on the trophy 3 years in a row. And I like the costumes. :)

We were also counting the medal total for C division, and we could tell that it was extremely close between Cyfalls, Clements and Hyde Park. The overall awards were extremely exciting

Once again, its a shame that Clements could not go to nationals as well. The past few years they have been a solid team on the national level. Its always sad when 3 or 4 teams compete for 2 slots, because someone always goes away unhappy.

Thanks! We have been working extremely hard this year, and we hope to represent Texas well at nationals. Its about time someone from Texas ended up with a trophy from nationals ;) , maybe this year is the year.

Rocketman, it was great to meet you on Friday, and congratulations on your medal! Its too bad we couldn't spend more time together, we needed to find out where bridge breaking was happening for our teammates. There's just not enough free time at these tournaments for socializing, I guess (especially when you have 2 events on Friday).

Wow thats amazing that you were able to get only 38 points- I definitely think that if a team like that is able to get such a good score at state, they will definitely do well in nationals. What was your team's lowest place?

Our worst event was Technical problem solving. We got 6th. Every other event we either got 1st or 2nd.
