Decision regarding bonus vs. non-bonus design

I am currently trying to make a decision regarding attempting the bonus for SciOly Boomilever division B. I have a strong compression beam weighing around 7.6 grams. I also have 2 tension members 1/16x3/32 and could not find the 1/16x1/8. Asking a person who is very knowledgeable in this subject do you believe I should attempt it?

I tried this once, most failures I've had are with the tension sticks using 1/8x1/16 so 3/32x1/16 might be slightly too thin, but using heavier densities it is probably achieveable.
