Sorting and Ringing Bell
Any input on this would be appreciated!
If the funnel that releases the object mixture is designed with two separate exit paths, is it legal for one exit path to begin the sorting process while the other exit path simultaneously releases a marble that travels down a track to ring the bell? Or would this be considered an illegal parallel action?

Re: Sorting and Ringing Bell
I've been wondering about the technicalities around the final task as well - I tried submitting a clarification but I included too much of a specific question rather than focused purely on the rules, so I'll probably try again -
As for what you described I think it's ok, as long as the whole "items going one way, marble going the other way" is part of the same "final action" on the ASL. The toughest part (I think) will be that the bell comes after the last item reaches the container (not just the last of the materials). I'm anticipating some teams having the bell ringing AS the last items enter their container - likely the marbles due to the nature of the challenge - instead of after. But in your situation, if the final action is triggered, and a marble begins a long journey towards the bell while the items are all sorted out, and the marble hits the bell after everything's sorted - I'd say it's fine.

Re: Sorting and Ringing Bell
Appreciate the response - we were on that same line of thinking so hopefully that means it will be ok!
I have also submitted an FAQ but have not gotten word back. The final action has definitely proved tough to navigate
