Scantron grading question

Post by Triarthrus »

I have a question regarding the Scantron grading process. If it was not clearly communicated by the proctor during the test that grading would be done by machine, and the team assumed it would be graded manually—as is typically the case for at-home tests where a Scantron machine isn’t available—would it be possible to request a manual review?

The team received zero points on a 100-question test, which we believe may be due to a Scantron-related technicality rather than their actual performance.

In the interest of fairness and good sportsmanship, could manual grading be considered in such cases? We would appreciate your guidance on how to proceed.
