The ramp is whatever you build. Teams build one vehicle and one ramp.

Rule 3f: the ramp and vehicle in ready-to-run configuration must fit within a 50cm square x 1m high box.

Does anyone have any information on what the width and length of the car can do for the car's run?

Generally, I would say more width and length help. Length helps because the front part of the car will be going slower as it hits the floor likely leading to less perturbation, especially if you have any type of lip in your ramp. Because of the dowel obstacle in this year's GV event, width should be beneficial since it makes your vehicle more stable. But this stability is minor compared to other obvious things you need to deploy into your vehicle's design, like a suspension system or very soft, large wheels.

I expected better than 1.3 at nationals. Looks like all the good devices got eliminated. Our score was 0.0 at regionals and 0.1 at states, which was live over Zoom. Unfortunately, our team did not make it to nationals.

We were surprised also, thinking we likely finished around 5th. Perhaps the run distance fooled some teams as they likely practiced/prepared for distances much closer to 5.0.
