Barron's has always been extremely helpful. That's all I used for the ACT. Their AP review books are also pretty comprehensive.

Totally random but this kid who's in Science Olympiad with me got a 790 in Math as a seventh grader (This past year)- he's really smart and everyday he goes to the high school (Seven Lakes) for math class.

That means he's taking geometry. I would have taken algebra in 6th grade, but the mean counselor didn't let me, so I'm taking it now. That kid must have been taught at home, like I was (and still am).

Wow I didn't know so many PPl took the SAT b4 night school. I haven't taken it yet but my stepsis who's a junior just got a 2370 overall!! I'm really happy for her but now I think my dad wants me 2 do as well as she did ... Yikes!! :shock:
My results @ states!!
Disease Detectives- 1st!!!
Pentathlon- 1st!! (even though I hate the event)
Environmental Chem.- 3rd

i just took the SATs this year to get to CTY and to kinda see what it was like. my friends friend in SO for a different school (8th grade) got an 800 in math!!! :shock: he was taking geometry in school and calc. outside of school :?

is anyone going to JHU (the original) for CTY this year? ;) meeting some SciOlyians whould be nice... :)

i am 8th grade right now, but last year (7th grade) i took the PSAT and beat the average high schooler's score by a ton (especially in language)
