Do any of you guys do Youth Orchestras or anything like that? I'm trying out for my 2nd one this year this week, but it doesn't conflict with my other one.

a list of woodwinds is:
flute, clarinet, oboe, bassoon, saxophone, piccolo
brass:
trumpet, french horn, trombone, baritone, tuba
percussion:
everything else
I have to disagree, those are the obvious ones but the didgeridoo would be considered a woodwind and not a percussion I believe. And there are others that I can think of that would fit in others sections. Everything else is not correct. Plus there are strings.

That's a French Horn. It isn't so popular an instrument in our school band (only 1 person plays it) but in larger professional bands and orchestras it is an important instrument.
