Most likely. Almost every official national event stays in the lineup for two years (with exceptions when the event just doesn't work out; but it doesn't sound like that is the case with Codebusters).masterWIZ wrote:Is Codebusters going to stay for next year?

Interesting why they kept Mystery Architecture then...John Richardsim wrote:Most likely. Re: Science Olympiad Events 2019-2020
This is slightly off topic, but oh well.
Does anyone know if they change the time slots for events from year to year? Like, will events that always conflict this year also always conflict next year as well?
(I'm asking as someone who wants to be an epidemiologist, but loves Experimental Design with all of her heart. Will I get to do both Disease and Experimental next year? Or will those in charge screw me over once again?)

Re: Science Olympiad Events 2019-2020
The timeslots for events on the nationals schedule do change year-to-year. On the nationals schedule, Disease Detectives is always run in the "early bird" timeslot. Although Experimental Design is also in that timeslot this season, it wasn't last season. And it was the year before that (2017), and not the year before that (2016).zsg11 wrote:This is slightly off topic, but oh well.

Now that's just the nationals schedule. I'm not sure how your regional or state tournaments would deal with that timeslot.

Pennsylvania has followed the Nationals schedule in recent years, if I remember correctly.zsg11 wrote:Ah, thanks.
