See above.

For your say 1/8" hole, grab a stick that is 2-3" long, 3/8" wide, and whatever thickness (even a Popsicle stick). Put a light dab of chap stick on one end, on the face. Cut a scrap of covering about 1/8" bigger than hole (or covers end of stick) and smooth it onto end of stick.

Cover the exposed wood on the stick with a scarp of paper, and dust a light coating of 3m77 onto the covering patch. How use the stick to position the covering over the hole, lightly press into place, then peal the stick off (that is why use minimal chap stick)..

This works for us for small holes, is quick, and permanent. If at the gym, just use a scarp of scotch tape. The covering method is lighter, but we are not close to weight issues this year.

Hi, quick question for all of you.

I’m hard pressed to get open gym times at my school and even when it is open, AC is an issue.

Where do you guys test? What are other lesser-known, but good, locations? Thanks!

rereading the rules, leaves some ambiguity and interpretation to whether or not you can have extra parts, such as wings, stabs, motor sticks, etc, can anyone confirm/deny whether this is allowed?

all our gyms have ac issues as well but i mean if you think about it competitions are likely to have them too so just test in an area you think is most likely going to be like competition and you'll be fine. try to eat everyday if you can whether that's in the morning afterschool during lunch literally whenever u can cause the vents will always change and you may have some days when they are weaker or stronger
it's not about the medals; go out there and have fun. make progress, learn a few things and have one heck of a time; that's all that matters.

we always carry extra just incase but you technically are only allowed two planes and you have to check both in before comp so i would say if your parts aren't on your second plane, it wouldn't be allowed during comp.

can anyone back up what i said or present other interpretations of the rules?

I had a similar question like this in Heli, with bringing backup rotors, but that was never answered.

Maybe coach chuck, bjt, or jander may have a better answer
