How could it possibly be that far off on the scale?

where does it say this?
It doesn't say electric winders are against the rules, but electricity may not always be available. You could use an electrical winder, but always have a manual one for when there is no electricity available.

yea i know i know that was my mistake. my point is i have been to a competition where they dont allow it at all which isnt according to the rules, but i mean they did it. so just look out for that. handheld winders are better in my opinion because you can feel for max winds and all that. so its personal preference, just be aware that they might not let you use it at comp and they also may not have the availability of power.

I don't know. It was a cheap kitchen scale, 1g increments, and was not even close to right! In lesser offending cases they have brought laboratory-grade scales, but still with 1g increments, not suitable for measuring 1.5g rubber or 7.5g planes. I always bring a few scales, just in case!

What should I do if my plane is stalling? How can I modify my plane to turn if I already finished building?

when is the plane stalling? beginning? mid flight after max height? when it starts coming down?

I would think try a lower angle of incidence if it is stalling throughout the entire flight.

depends on your plane but you want to get a thicker sized motor if it doesnt climb enough itll ultimately give more power, see the post a page or so back that i said about rubber and sizes and all that
