As an event supervisor I have always reminded the students repeatedly to save early and often. In the event that a computer crashed we took the saved file on their flash drive and transferred it to another computer. We would then give them a couple extra minutes at the end to make up for the couple of minutes they would have lost.Nba2302 wrote:What would happen if scratch crashes in the middle. Is there a limited amount of block we can use for this event. I am a pretty experienced coder who wants to do Game on.

No, you're only limited by the time. Make sure to check the rubric on soinc.org so you know what the graders are looking for.Incineroar999 wrote:Is there a limited amount of block we can use for this event. I am a pretty experienced coder who wants to do Game on.

I'm pretty sure scratch 3.0 is coming out in January, will we be using scratch 3.0 after January or will we stick to the 2.0 editor?
P.S I'm thundermaster1 on scratch. If you want to check out my games

Re: Game On B
Hey guys. I just have a question. For invitationals, you use scratch online, right? But I read that for State, you use offline scratch. I just need a confirmation on which ones we will be using online or offline scratch.
Re: Game On B
are we allowed to have pre-built basic games or blocks of code and take them to competition and then just apply a theme?

Re: Game On B
To my knowledge, you can't have any pre-built basic games, everything has to be done there and then at the competition.Milesorob wrote:are we allowed to have pre-built basic games or blocks of code and take them to competition and then just apply a theme?
