What I do is go into the Wikipedia article on thermodynamics. You will see a box that looks like Image.
History is mostly about people and what they did, so go under 'Scientists', take notes on them, and then print out the articles. Stick it all in your binder and index it based on person.

Find over 5 good, trust able sites, select all, copy paste.
Then simplify and format (the hard part).
Read through to familiarize, finished!

I feel like taking notes, in addition to that is a lot better. It helps you remember the information better than just reading.

I agree. Often simplifying, formatting, reading and taking notes all go hand in hand.

I second that and always make sure you know where your notes are and how they are ordered also helps.

It is VERY helpful to create a table of contents and index everything in your binder. That way, you don't waste time looking for everything.

Under the conditions of 150 ml and a starting temperature of 90 degrees Celsius, I got an ending temperature of 58 degrees Celsius after 30 minutes.

Also, what materials are you guys using a cap for the beaker of water?

By starting temperature of 90 C do you mean the temperature you heat the water up to or the temperature when you put the water in the beaker.
What did the thermometer say to the graduated cylinder?
"You may have graduated, but I have many degrees"
