Sorry about this, its probably extremely repetitive but is the use of aerogels allowed.

I actually have the rule for this specific situation memorized - allowed materials are rule 3.a, and have been so in this event every year it has existed.

Also, I'm not going to type "yes" when I can teach someone how to read the rules better.

They are allowed under rule 3a (as the great Unome kindly stated for us), but as most aerogels are a combination of aerogel and fiberglass (including blanket forms), they are not allowed, fiberglass being a banned material. Insulation factor actually isn't that important; it's the prediction score and test that matter.

Rest In Peace space loft. Because of the chance of fiberglass, I’d recommend bringing an SDS of your aerogel stapled to your graphs to show it is clean.
