levers

Does a transition from one first class lever to a second class lever count for points. Also, do transitions from a second class lever to a pulley, and then a first class lever to a pulley count as to different transitions and points

I think so. You should probably check with someone else.

As long as the transfer is different, like first to second, second to third, and third to first, etc. all count for points.

I think this was addressed in a FAQ, although I'm not sure.

No. Rule 4c says ". . .one Simple Machine type to a different Simple Machine Type." Rule 3e lists the six Simple Machine Types, one of which is "pulleys". Therefore 2 levers of different classes are machines of the same type and would not qualify for points per rule 4c.

No. These are both Lever --> Pulley, and per rule 4e could be incorporated into the device, but only one instance would count for points.
