Hey guys, I'm currently working on a scioly wiki page for invitationals. I would like some help! If you know of any invitationals that aren't listed here, would you be so kind as to post the following:

(1) The host high school and date
(2) Number of teams attended
(3) Champion (and score)
(4) Runner Up (and score)
(5) Number of teams

For example, I would like information about Boyceville invitational and some of the TX invitationals.

I would update this directly on the Wiki, but I don't want to take any chances with messing up the formatting, so here's the info for the Churchill invite.

1. The host school and date:
Winston Churchill Middle School - December 8th, 2012.

2. Number of teams attended:
Eighteen.

3. Champion and their score:
Churchill - 83

4. Runner up and their score:
Muscatel - 102

5. Number of teams that attended:
Eighteen.

You didn't ask for it, but the state is (Northern) California.

Very cool, thanks for taking the initiative! Few things...

1. What's the sorting criteron/a? It looked like state and region, but CA is at the bottom (not alphabetical). It's certainly not by date.
2. I assume the info you've filled in for Ohio tournaments upcoming is from last season...?
3. Are we distinguishing between past and upcoming invites? Or is this the 2013 season invites page and intended to cover everything all at once?
4. Not all invites have team scores, so what is a good way to indicate that for 'rogue' invites as opposed to a dash suggesting that info isn't available/is missing?
5. Does number of teams include JV (B...I guess they may be called different things in different areas) teams? There's a case for both sides here. A 10 tema tournament with no JV teams is much smaller than one where each of those teams brings one or two JV teams. On the other hand, JV doesn't matter when the purpose of the page, in part, is score tracking noting the winning team and runner-up.

Another question about the B/JV teams; a lot of teams in California don't choose official teams until later, so they go by different names, e.g. for the Churchill invite would you want specifics like "Churchill Purple" and "Muscatel White"?

The same thing occurs in many other states, like Ohio and Pennsylvania. I would just say that the school is enough, otherwise it becomes too complex.

Also, for further clarification, I decided to divide the regions into 4 regions used for the NCAA basketball tournament (arbitrary, I know, but it keeps things simple). They are: East, Midwest, South, and West. I think these four regions are pretty good balance in capturing the general regions of the United States, without being too specific. Are there any other suggestions perhaps for regions? I could see a further subdivision between Northeast and Southeast, if that seems realistic.

1. The sorting critera is by region, then state.
2. Yes, and I plan on that being the case. However, this is up to what you guys think is good. I don't have all the information in the world, so it's up for you guys to decide!
3. I was thinking that there should be new table each year. I didn't realize how quickly this would take off! I'll modify that once we cross that bridge.
4. I think an asterisk, explaining at the bottom the case of it (such as Harriton's upcoming invitational) would do the trick.
5. So, to me, what a "team" is a group of 15 individuals in a division (B or C) competing that has a team number. This means that I would count JV and Varsity teams together in the B division, for example. However, I really think it's up to you guys to determine that. It's more to just have a feel for about how many teams went, because scores really can be skewed by the amount of teams participating.
