Wikipedia. All you need for this event can be found there and on a dot gov site or two. You need no go out of your way to find texts if you're already against a trip or two to the library. Otherwise, a high school level earth science text will do alright for B division so long as it covers the right material. Remember that it will only teach you content and not necessarily the skills necessary for success.

Try getting a used book; you can generally get some of those for less than twelve dollars.

You can find some free PDF files that are essentially long essays written by people that will be more than adequate for the basics. Not exactly books, but close enough I think.

This would be the first time I get to do glaciers... I was only there for the Fresh Water rotation. I find I actually really like the topic... But one question. In my Glacier book I got from Amazon, it talks about at least two equations. I forget the name of them... But does anyone know if we need to know equations for this event? Will they hold any significance?

I'm not sure; it is probably better to be safe than sorry; so knowing the albedo equation and darcy's law might be good ideas. My book has a lot more than two equations.
