Actually i think it's a Whirlig beetle? I could be wrong.

They are similar and part of the same family. The type tested for water quality is the predaceous diving beetle. Yeah, I was thinking that too. Since I'm new to the event though, I decided to defer to my counterparts. I guess I knew them better than I thought.

I don't recall seeing many pictures of whirligig beetles with green/yellow highlights. Thought that was unique to predaceous diving beetles.
