I don't think clay is allowed at all, I think it may have already been discussed in this thread

I have a device that loses 29.2 degrees Celsius of heat over 30 minutes, at a room temperature of 20 degrees Celsius, with 100 mL of water in the beaker, with a starting temperature of 90 degrees. Is this good or bad?

Just for clarification, do we make the prediction once our device has cooled, or during the 5 min set up period?

4.a.vi appears to suggest that we have all the way up until the actual final measurement itself.

i saw on some website that you can bring a binder with notes for the test. is that true?
