Speaking of marching bands, our 9-12 high school (1400 students) has a marching band of over 200 people.

That's amazing. Ours spiked in numbers the year that they made a trip to Philidalphia to march in a parade on Thanksgiving, but it made a major drop afterward. People just like making big trips I guess. ^-^

I started piano at age four-ish, flute in fifth grade, and piccolo and trumpet last fall. People are always amazed at this, but..no. Seeing as picc is just a mini-flute and I suck at trumpet.

I play trombone for school and i used to play the violin, but I hated it cause my teacher made me stand up and play it so I quit
