I got around a 730 on Biology M and like a 580 on US History.

I figure I could've done a bit better in Biology, and my history grade was atrocious. I don't even know how I did that badly.

Taking World, Math II, and Chem on Saturday. I'm pumped.
Last year I got a 780 on Biology E. I was a little disappointed, but I only started studying two days before the test...so yeah.

I have my first SAT subject test next week for bio and it's been a nightmare. I'm thinking about canceling my score and retaking in October, with the exciting prospect of studying during the summer. >_<

In eighth grade I got a 2320 on the SAT: 800 math, 800 critical reading, 720 writing. I wasn't one of those super geniuses though - the math was brute forced, and for crit reading and writing I was a ferocious reader so I was able to use my instincts.
ornithology, forestry, entomology, triple E, green generation, water quality, dynamic planet (lakes & rivers), awesome aquifers, meteorology, robot arm, write it do it. :)

I got a 530 in Critical Reading, a 610 in Math, and a 540 in Writing. XD
I guess it isn't bad for an eighth-grader who didn't take a single practice test.

wasn't surprised about the math....I hadn't learned any of it yet and did it the two weeks before the test

Just wondering, why do 7th/8th graders take the SATs? I mean I have nothing against it, but you have plenty of chances later, and it's $40!

Actually, it's $90, depending on who you take it with. But it gives you a headstart, and tells you what you need to work on.

You can qualify for talent searches, etc. if you take the SAT/ACT in middle school. To go to CTD or CTY, for example, you need a standardized test score.

Same with me. Otherwise I wouldn't have taken them until sophomore year.
