1. Ladue (58)
2. John Burroughs (64)
3. Lafayette (77)
4. MICDS A (92)

Like I said before, John Burroughs is a really competitive team. The six point margin was, honestly, very uncomfortable for us. Seeing as this is only their second year competiting, I would think that they are a potential qualifier for nationals.
Burroughs kid here.

We were so close to beating you guys at regionals. If our mission possible worked/if I had done decently well at fossils, who knows what would have happened. :?

Thanks for the complements, though. It's kind of interesting seeing Ladue's perspective on all this.

On a side note, is your former coach still working with you guys? I saw him a lot at the competition and was wondering what he was doing...

Yeah, the margin at regionals was really close. The guy you saw at scioly regionals was probably Dr. Middleton. He was, I guess, our "coach" last year since we couldn't even find a sponsor at our school. So one of our seniors last year's dad step up and sponsored us. He had to go through all the mess of applying to become a faculty of the school and all just to be eligible. It was really nice of him to do that for us. As for last weekend, he was just nice enough to come out and help (since he's pretty experienced).

Eh...Ladue dominated at Mathcounts today AGAIN. Your school is very competitive, especially that Yang Liu dude, who got EVERY problem right.

Whoa, perfect score? Was this at Chapter/Region/District/whatever you call it, or States?

Well, states is over, so gratz to Ladue & Pembroke Hill for getting 2nd & 1st place in Div. B and the other way around in C. I was sad that Bottle Rockets was cancelled, I thought I made a pretty good one last night.

Gillen: Which school do you go to? I heard Platte something called in C. How did you do?

I was on Platte County. We got sixth as a team, and I got first in astronomy and microbe, third in sound of music, and fifth in remote.

I have a feeling I saw you today at states. Were you the one that said hi to Yang and I as we were walking next to the stairs near Strickland?
