I'd love to see you there! Apparantly we're attracting a couple strong teams from Ohio this year.

Sorry if this is random and off subject, but this is the first year my school's doing Protein modeling...and of course, i'm chosen. What is the difficulty level on that event, if you don't mind?

All events are difficult, in that they are all competitive. Though one event may be "harder", it is harder for everyone, so ya.

But nevertheless, protein is a pretty complex event, you really wanna go get an ap bio textbook and or an organic chem book.
2011 Season Events~

Fossils (Regionals ~1st) (State ~6th)
Towers (Regionals ~1st) (State ~3rd)
Helicopter (Regionals -3rd gahhh) (State ~5th)
Wind Power (Regionals ~1st) (State ~3rd TIERED!)

Hooray for getting everything i wanted?

yes, illazar is correct in that all events are difficult because they're competetive, but some require more work for different people. You should probably take a look at the Protein Modeling thread.
