Payton Proos currently competes for West Michigan Aviation Academy in Region 12 of Division C. Before this, they competed for Chandler Woods Charter Academy. Payton has participated on the A team for her whole Science Olympiad career, and they will continue serving the team as community liaison for the 2022-2023 season.

She medaled at the Michigan state tournament in 2017, 2019, and 2022 for Fast Facts (6th), Crime Busters (1st), and Forensics (1st) respectively.

Trivia

• In sixth grade, Payton glued their hands together while trying to make a plane for Wright Stuff. Unsurprisingly, Payton's partner was far better at the event than she was.
• When Payton isn't working on Science Olympiad, she's either planning for a GSA meeting, reading a book, or working at a tutoring center.
