William P. Clements High School is a Division C school located in Sugar Land, Texas. The school won the Texas state tournament for the first time in 2013 and has qualified for the national tournament in 2007, 2008, 2013, 2014, and 2017. It has consistently performed well at the state tournament. Even in years when Clements has not qualified for nationals, it has been very close, missing nationals by 11 points in 2006, 3 points in 2009, 23 points in 2010, 7 points in 2015, and 15 points in 2016.
