Manhattan High School is located in Manhattan, in the Salina region of Kansas. Beginning in 2013, Manhattan made dramatic improvements, and recently finished in second place at the 2014 Kansas state tournament. The second place finish broke up the recent monopoly the Northeast Kansas region held on the top two spots and could potentially be a stepping stone to its first nationals appearance as early as the 2015 season.
