Highview Middle School, located in New Brighton, Minnesota, first competed during the 2011-2012 school year, when it finished in 9th place at the state tournament. In 2012-2013, the team competed in the Boyceville Invitational and Wright State Invitational, and it won 1st place at the Providence Academy regional tournament.

Highview Middle School feeds into 6-time Division C state champion Mounds View High School as well as Irondale High School, which does not currently compete in Science Olympiad.
