Parkway West High School is a school in Chesterfield, St Louis County, Missouri and student-led, with their wonderful sponsor Mr. Burkard. This team is fairly new to Science Olympiad, making their debut at the 2025 Washington University in St. Louis Invitational.
Despite attempts to start a team in years past, the Longhorns were unsuccessful until 2023-24, when 2 full teams lined up to compete. However, they were snowed in for regionals in 2024, and the rescheduled date took out 80% of their competitors.
On 3/1/25, their first ever regionals competition qualified them to state.
