Oversized table
To the degree I can with my workload and sporadic onlineability, I've been slowly trying to update the table of past games. After inputting all the raw data I want to tackle the issue of this oversized table that you need to scroll horizontally to read. However, I'm still not the best with wiki editing and don't want to ruin any established conventions (or something like that). Help?
Questioned changes:
- consolidate Start Date, End Date, and Duration columns all into one column. Having all three takes up a lot of space, so maybe a format like "10/31/20 - 11/10/20 (10 days)". Thing is, I don't know if the table sorting would work properly if it was in a format like that or how to make it so it would.
- Find some way to reword/cut down the info in the "Notes" section in games 146 and onward; they tend to have a bunch of words squished into a thin column that makes that game's row overly wide. (Though depending on how the above issue is handled, column consolidation might open up more space to widen this section.) The depth of content itself also isn't very consistent with notes from earlier games, though that might be because of the trend of later games taking more liberties with the rules. Either way, something needs to be changed.
Are these even things I should be worried about? There is very much a chance I'm just overthinking this haha- --LittleMissNyan (talk) 17:29, 28 March 2023 (UTC)
