Sophia, who prefers to be called by her last name (which is not here because she also cares about cyber security), is an 8th grade student at Ames Middle School. For the 2022 SCIOLY season, she is competing in EWS, Crave the Wave, and Sounds of Music. In past years, she has also competed in Circuit Lab, Food Science, and Ping Pong Parachute. Sophia enjoys music, sports, and nature, and has a strange obsession with birds, especially cockatiels.
